The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was a total disaster. The Korean company paid a steep price for the release of that particular device into the market. But, Samsung isn’t a company that can be unnerved so easily.
With high hopes and expectations, the company is prepping for the release of the Note 8, probably in the second half of this year. Pre order of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 may starts in June or July 2017.
According to past records, Samsung releases their Note series smartphones during the month of August and the reason behind them breaking this pattern is quite obvious. After the Galaxy Note 7 was reported to explode all around the world, the tech community thought that Samsung will put a halt in their note lineup.
Instead, in order to clear their faces and bring back the Note series into the market once again, Samsung is making a bombastic comeback, with the help of the new, innovative and possibly safe, Galaxy Note 8.
Why was the Note 7 fated to such atrocities ?
In a rush to compete with Apple’s release of the new iPhone, Samsung pushed their lineup into creating potentially harmful smartphones, that didn’t clear the device safety protocols.
As a result of a faulty battery, the Note 7 started to blow up all around the world. Samsung tried to fix the problem, but it was overwhelming and repairing the devices were not enough. Finally, Samsung decides to bring the Note 8 into the market to rectify their mistake and make people forget about the nightmare, which was the Note 7.
iPhones 6’s bendy display was a sort of a manufacturing issue as we,,, but this takes to a whole new level, just because of the scale at which it affected the people.
What seems to be the problem ?
Samsung acquired the batteries from two different companies and commented that they were at fault of all the damage that was caused to the device.
The batteries acquired from Samsung SDI didn’t leave much space in between the battery and the heat sealed protective pouch. Another company Amperex had similar problems with the production and the management of the batteries which lead to the disaster.
However, that’s all in the past and as a new future awaits, we are greeted with the Note 8. People have high expectations of this device. Let’s take a look at the rumored specs of the supposedly future device.
The Note 8 is supposed to pack a QHD AMOLED screen with a 6.2-inch display and a 4K resolution, and the screen containing much slimmer bezels. Powered by the Android 7.0 Nougat, with at least of 6GB of RAM and 64GB or storage. The processor will be a bit more powerful than the previous one though.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is yet to make a debut since no images are leaked on the internet. People are earnestly waiting, possibly for the month of August to finally put their hands on the Note 8, grab that stylus and take that device out for a spin.
